If you are currently using an earlier version of SPSS, note that you will need to update to version 20 before end of December 2012 (due to licencing restrictions and/or withdrawal of specific versions by IBM). Further information about licensing, together with licence codes, can be found on the Applications Software Website. This is to facilitate time for teaching staff to assess any lecture notes and test functionality, in time for the next academic year. IT Services are pleased announce that SPSS 20 is now available on the Electronic Software Delivery system (ESD) in anticipation of it being the standard version on the Student Desktop from September.
